Peter’s Chinese has quietly become one of our absolute favorites in Denver. It’s unassuming from the outside, but the food is consistently excellent. We usually order the scallion pancakes, General Tso’s chicken, and Mongolian beef, and everything always hits the spot. Cozy, humble, nothing pretentious. It's just great flavors and a place that genuinely feels loved by the people who run it. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates the “hidden gem” style spots that focus on what actually matters: really good food.

Came to this un-huge and wonderful neighborhood gem of a restaurant serving Chinese cuisine on a Sunday early evening as a party of three. We were seated right away and greeted by none other than Peter, the owner/proprietor and namesake of the restaurant. Ordered three dishes, which came out in about ten minutes. The sesame chicken is REALLY great, especially if you like a slightly caramelized sauce on the tender chicken pieces. Singapore noodles are very flavorfully prepared, and the simple, yet very tasty green beans were delicious too. There are only a handful of tables and seats, but that just adds to the charm of this restaurant. No MSG used in the food, if you care about that kind of thing. Very very highly recommended!

Not much to look at on the outside or the inside; there was also a heavy smell of bleach on our table. Service was quick, though very neutral in attitude. Food was good, though nothing that we felt conpelled to want to return for.
